Disney Channel Storytellers is a writers’ incubator program run by Disney Channel and It’s a Laugh Productions that develops emerging TV series creators and comedy writers for kids and family programming. 

Selected writers are paid WGA-scale salaries, receive Writers Guild of America membership eligibility or points, and work exclusively for Disney Channel during the term. They’re expected to generate one original live-action pilot script for possible pick-up, plus additional ideas, digital content, and support on other Disney projects.
